UNMANNED GROUND VEHICLE . 500 KG CLASS
ARMADILLO
A Danish-designed, modular and autonomous ground vehicle –
built to protect personnel and keep the supply lines moving.
OPERATIONAL
USE
________
Armadillo performs logistics, casualty evacuation and reconnaissance missions on the front line,
reducing the need to expose personnel in high-risk environments.
Lessons learned from Ukraine have demonstrated the operational value of unmanned ground vehicles for transporting supplies, ammunition and equipment, evacuation casualties, and conducting surveillance and reconnaissance.
Armadillo is designed specially for these tasks. It delivers water, ammunition and supplies to forward units, evacuates casualties without exposing personnel, and provides forward observation and situation awareness through integrated sensor systems.
The result is improved force protection, increased operational tempo and enhanced battlefield awareness.
Where conventional military platforms are often complex and costly, Armadillo is built on an industrial principle: affordability, scalability and rapid production. With a 500 kg payload and an open cargo bed optimized for the EUR pallet, the platform integrates directly into existing supply chains – with no special handling required.

ABOUT
ARMADILLO
ROBOTICS
________
Armadillo Robotics A/S is a Danish engineering and manufacturing company headquartered in Sønderborg, Denmark. We develop and produce autonomous unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for military logistics, casualty evacuation and reconnaissance missions, designed to operate where it is too dangerous to send personnel.
Our approach is built on practical engineering, robust design and proven industrial components. Working closely with end users and defence organisations, we develop platforms that are reliable, scalable and efficient to manufacture, without compromising operational performance.
Armadillo is designed and manufactured in Denmark at our own production facility, providing full control over engineering, quality, production and delivery. Backed by more than 70 years of engineering and manufacturing experience, we combine industrial production capability with modern autonomous systems to meet evolving operational requirements.
The platform is designed for continuous innovation and development. Our product roadmap includes an Arctic low-temperature variant rated for operations down to −40°C, a hybrid version with extended range, and solutions for self-loading of pallets and recovery of disabled UGVs. Together, these developments provide a scalable platform architecture that can adapt to future missions and operational demands.
